After a 15 year absence, water polo will be returning to the iconic freshwater location of Malanda Falls, in the heart of the scenic Atherton Tablelands.
“Flat Out at the Falls”, a regional water polo event unique to the far north in the early 2000s, will be reborn with the Cairns Water Polo club committed to growing the game in the Tablelands.
The event will be hosted from 9am Saturday 11 December 2021 at Malanda Falls and is open to players of all levels. The focus will be on having fun and enjoying the natural beauty of the location. We will be welcoming players from the local area, Cairns, Townsville, Mackay and further afield!
We will host an evening social event in Malanda following the tournament and encourage all players and supporters to stay at one of the many quality accommodation options available in town.
